After the Oklahoma City Bombing, I was doing a retrofit at a Federal Building in Texas. I casually walked up to the front door with a story-pole (the one with the green and yellow caring case that you flung over your shoulder) the guards at the front door mistook the pole for a rifle. As you can guess, I had to go home and change my shorts after they leveled their weapons at me. I never, ever carried that thing again.
