Benjamin,

First and foremost you cannot use galvanized with AFFF. Black steel
tends to swell, stratify and then de-laminate (there are some proper
and precise words to describe this but they're escaping me at the
moment). Stainless works well on ships. I don't have a clue about C.L.
ductile but sounds like it might work.
