Blazemaster (TYCO) installation instructions & tech handbook Jan 2005 lists
Permissible bending deflections in table "J" based upon size of pipe and
length.
Example: 1" cpvc is allowed to bend or deflect 6.3" in 5'-0" (5'-0" also
just happens to be the max hanger spacing for 1".
Sounds like you have a compound deflection (bow) so 1/2 the allowed would
seem appropriate.

Subject: Plastic Pipe bowing
I was asked by a fire inspector if it is allowed to have mechanical
ductwork
bow plastic pipe? The ductwork is not support by the plastic pipe. It is
in a tight spot where the ductwork is installed above the plastic pipe and
due to the limited space, it is bowing the pipe. What the picture shows
is
it looks like there is about 16" of space between the pipe and deck and
the
18" diameter flex is above the pipe. This is bowing the plastic pipe.
The
inspector is saying that they can't find anything in code that would not
allow this. They don't like it, but can't find anything to hang the hat
on.
Thanks,
