In the 1971 Edition of NFPA 13 you will find Section 7020 "Nameplate Data". This Section requires a permanently attached sign at the alarm or dry pipe valve stating the location,number of sprinklers, basis of design, etc. The 1966 Edition has no requirements for a "Nameplate Data". Phill Brown AFSA
