I have been asked if a local AHJ can enforce high rack storage sprinklers (or the equivalent) in a moving and storage warehouse. Boxed and unboxed household goods . Building has only ceiling sprinklers. Same occupancy for 20+ years. State code is IBC -2006 and local IFC 2006.
I would think that this has pretty well established but I guess not. Can it vary depending on State or locality? C.
