Nice to have a decaf switch directed at someone else for a change :)
If we don't include the bs, it's just work.

I've found when I get together with sprinkler friends from the Forum, which
happens pretty frequently, the discussion isn't unlike the banter on this
forum. It's just how we express ourselves. I couldn't go a day without some
satire. So the way the discussions go on the Forum is just as when we are
talking in person.

SFPE Journal is nice dry reading material, even in metric for extra credit
conversion while reading it. But I'm afraid after about 15 years of
discussion, enlightenment, humor, making friends and finding the roots of a
peer group, I doubt its going to change and should be considered the cost of
enlightenment.

I'm sure there are Ivy League scholars that just can't read ee cummings
because of the blatant errors. Their loss. And that Hemingway guy- hopeless.

Take the jokesters off the Forum and there wouldn't be much left except the
folks that don't know how to unsubscribe.

And Chris- we may not have been able to meet up, but we've been real close
twice!

Subject: Re: Heads Under Platforms

Let's all switch to decaf for a moment. This Forum has worked as a
mostly self policing body for a long time. Things that people have
taken offence too have appeared before and I may have said some of
them. They tend to get worked out among the parties and that is the
end of it. If it is out of control, Mr Muncy or Mr Huggins will step
in and put a stop to it, publicly or privately. It ends there. I
don't see anything here that would rise to the need for action by the
AFSA Board. If it is, then maybe you should add my name to the list.
I'm sure that at some point I have cast a diatribe towards a member
or two (usually when I am under a lot of stress). Let's move on.
Besides, this is not technical in nature and I wouldn't want to get in
trouble.
