I am having one of those days where I cant find the right answer. I have a
building that contains 5 large kilns for ceramics. An inspection was done and
it was discovered that all the uprights over the top of the kiln (hung in the
rafters about 14 feet above the top of the kilns) have been removed and
plugged. I see in 13 the line about the industrial ovens but do not see a
section referring me to a requirement of specific temperature rated heads. Is
the maximum ceiling temperature the only rule to use for this problem as
defined in chapter 8?
