I had always thought that both NFPA 13R and 13D required a minimum two head calculation.
For various reasons we were actually reading it today and notice that there does not appear to be a minimum number of heads to calc, just calc. how many heads are in a compartment. We have an apartment whose units have 1 head per compartment, is it acceptable to do a 1 head calc for 13R?
