I am looking for your opinion on a garbage chute sprinkler lprotection. We have
to protect a building 22 stories high. The top floors are condos from the 10th
to the 22nd floor. The garbage chute is used for these floors only. One
sprinkler head will be located every two floors inside the service opening. The
rest of the garbage chute from the 9th floor to the ground floor is located
inside a fire rated shaft without any access to these floors.A sprinkler head
is located at the bottom of the garbage at the ground floor. My question is the
following; Do we need to sprinkler the levels below the 9th floor without any
access doors.
