GL construction generally resembles "Standard Mill Construction" or "Heavy timber" construction.(See NFPA 220) Even when those heavy timbers are built into structural trusses, but not closely spaced that act like HTC more so than Truss construction.(See Exhibit 3.39 of NFPA handbook 2007)
