13 pretty much ignores FDC's except to say they are magical connections that
somehow allow the fire department to "supplement" pressure without adding flow.

Subject: Hanger spacing - 100 psi

NFPA 13 (2002) section 9.2.3.4.3 discusses hanger spacing deviations
for piping with maximum pressure exceeding 100 psi as being
different from spacing with pressures less than that. If the fire
department hooks up to the FDC with 150 psi pressure, would that be
the valve used for determining the maximum pressure? If that is the
case, when would the lesser value be used?
