Craig- Right on, I knew that wasn't the section I was thinking of but was the closest thing I could find. Are you aware of any code that prohibits running sprinkler pipe through unprotected areas? Say a building was built on top of the underground fire main and someone decided to just rise up and run it inside the building and then back down and reconnect to the UG main instead of going around the building and staying underground. That's what that section is dealing with. Craig L. Maybe I'm thinking of plastic pipe? Any ideas?
