Bob,
Steve is saying that you absolutely have to include them if you are using the
manufactures' equivalent lengths, if the manufacture shows an equivalent length
for a tee on the run in their cut sheet.

I either misunderstand what is being said here, or my ignorance is about to
show through, but I have never heard anyone say that "you absolutely have to
include" a flow through tee in calculations regardless of type. 13
22.4.4.7(5) seems clear to me that you don't include this fitting regardless of
schedule. Am I missing something?

Manufacturer's data sheets give the values and instruct on use - see
BlazeMaster design guide, for ex. Yes, you absolutely have to include

Hello forumites, I'd like to pole the forum and see what the consensus is on
accounting for flow through tee's or "tee on the run" when calculating a
system. NFPA states that they do not need to be included when using the
schedule 40 fitting table. But when using manufactures'
fitting equivalents, do you include them?
