What has the forum done to run residential pendants in exposed pipe applications to meet the 1-4" deflector distance criteria?
There doesn't seem to be a res pnd listed for more than a 4in deflector distance. I have an concrete deck / beam residential application and wanted to run steel pipe but would need to run a 1" Bts pipe C/L to keep the deflector within 4in. . I am hesitant to run CPVC with 2-hole straps tight to the deck because of the possible stress fractures at the fitting/pipe joint. I guess I will go with QR sprinklers , steel pipe, and run a -8 C/L with uprights and calc 900 SF.
