The M-coat is not a corrosion resistance coating. Read the info on the Allied website.

They don't make pipe today that they expect to be storing for five years, The game is to make it and sell it as fast as possible. I think these coatings are not designed to protect the pipe for any extended length of time. If they were we'd never use galvanized.
