Subject: wood trusses

I have a building that has wood trusses 18" deep. they are showing a
membrane roof on top and drywall on the bottom of the trusses. The
suspended ceiling is 18" below the drywall. If I am reading 8.15.1 (2007
edition) correctly, I don't need sprinklers between the drywall and
suspended ceiling; but it looks like I need (listed) sprinklers in the
trusses since it only mentions solid or composite wood joist in the
exceptions. Is this correct?
