Check the IBC (not sure of chapter and verse) I believe if you have less than
20 sprinklers you can use the domestic supply and if it is capable of supplying
the sprinkler demand plus the domestic flow.

Subject: 2" Residential Supply For Coolers

Quick question:
Is there anything that allows or disallows the use of a 2" domestic underground
to supply sprinklers being added to (2) coolers in an existing building? From
what I understand there are no other sprinklers in the building other than the
ones they want added to the coolers. I assume the water demands for OH-2 plus
hose for 60-90 minutes would still need to be met?
