Depending on what version of 13 you're using, you may need to add domestic
demand at the point of connection. Ref 24.1.3.3 in the 2013.

Subject: 2" Residential Supply For Coolers

Quick question:
Is there anything that allows or disallows the use of a 2" domestic
underground to supply sprinklers being added to (2) coolers in an existing
building? From what I understand there are no other sprinklers in the
building other than the ones they want added to the coolers. I assume the
water demands for OH-2 plus hose for 60-90 minutes would still need to be
met?
