AquaTherm has a plastic material that is joined by heat fusion. It is FM
approved only though (not UL). It is ready to go pretty quickly after install.

Not the cheapest product out there.

Subject: cpvc sharkbite style fittings?

Hello all,

I had someone tell me there are shark-bite style fittings out there that are
listed for fire sprinkler use. I've been searching but have failed to find any.
We have a need for fittings that can be utilized immediately without having to
wait for glue to cure.

Any direction is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony
