Thanks a lot for telling us! Without being in the loop it's really hard
to know these things. This also shows how much things have changed these
days. The only info I could find about the announcement was a lot of
tweets. Here is one of Travis Oliphant confirming it:

It would be really great to get sponsorship to work on Spyder because
there are a lot of things to do and improve on it. But since they are
asking for representatives, I think Pierre is the right one to contact them.
