Hi Jeff,
I hope you have been able to sort out your paging issues with the hints
and tips that have been given to you by other members of this mailing list.
The International SQL-Ledger Network Association has an area on its
website, where community members can share their templates with others
(http://redmine.sql-ledger-network.com/redmine/projects/isna/wiki/LaTeX_Templates).
I'm afraid, so far nothing has been posted there, but I write you these
lines hoping that you might be the first person to do so.
Regards,
Sebastian

I've nearly finished another laytex pdf template, and I've run into my
old issue that I can't get it to properly break the page. This time
I've noticed its the notes field that's causing me grief. The template
apparently has no code to compensate for unusually long notes. And
that's the reason why I am getting odd page breaks. It might be
treating the notes field as a single unbreakable block?
I have included examples of what happens with short, medium and long
notes fields. I like how the template behaves with short notes
fields, but.... its misbehaving with medium and long notes fields. I
have also included my template.
The headings at the top of the template are relatively unchanged. The
letterpage package has had the margins changed a little bit.
Once I get the page break to work properly. I will need to ensure
that my last 5 lines of code which print "WORK ORDER","00001","please
double check...." always print at the bottom of the page, or maybe
the footer. But I have never gotten that to work successfully.
If anyone has any ideas on what I might be missing I would really
appreciate it. At best I'm a hack laytexer :-)
Jeff
