We don't sell software, but we do sell services, and it's very similar.
If you don't want to add parts to your inventory I think you have two
choices: 1) sell services, which will work fine, I think, or 2) sell
assemblies, which can be put together from services and parts. I think
you can sell assemblies that you don't have in inventory, but then you
end up with negative counts in the inventory of that assembly.
