LedgerCart is a piece of new software that instantly converts your SQL-Ledger/LedgerSMB installation into a fully functional web-based order system and customer portal. I played around with it a little in order to discover how it works and; Wow - it's fantastic! What a cool add-on for instantly turning your SQL-Ledger into an online orders and customer portal. I simply love it! It's really nice, clean and simple to understand and once you have installed it, it's self explaining and easy to configure and adapt to your individual needs. It immediately publishes the products and prices from your SQL-Ledger database, so there is no need to sync your products or customers between your online order system and accounting software. Customers can login and view their orders and invoices. Existing customers login with their email address using a special password feature and new customers can register themselves during checkout. All orders that are placed in LedgerCart will instantly be found in your SQL-Ledger under -> Orders -> Reports -> Sales Orders. Armaghan has decided to published LedgerCart as free software under the GPL which I find very honorable. LedgerCart fits perfectly to the goals and intentions of the International SQL-Ledger Network Association. One of our goals is to "advocate the GPL as license for all further developments around SQL-Ledger" and another is to "support further development of the SQL-Ledger Project on a joint basis".
