Hi Sebastian, Armaghan, Was eager to try Ledgercart, but somehow I seem to miss a few things. First of all, if I install the modules required it forces me to install Perl 5.17 (beta dev edition). I have no moral problems with this, but after that the normal SQL login (stock debian squeeze with stock SQL-Ledger) was broken. Fixed that by rebuilding DBI and DBD::PG manually, but it was a nasty surprise.
Tried again to install needed Perl modules next to another SQL install, Ubuntu 12.04 VPS server this time. Again the normal SQL login was broken. This time even rebuilding DBI and DBD::Pg did not help, so I restored a backup. Upside of VPS. Still I would very much like to play with Ledgercart, will build a special purpose box to play around and test most likely. That way no problems arise while I do not yet understand which perl module messes up what part(s) of SQL_ledger and or perl. Maybe I am really a genius in breaking SQL-installs..but any hints in the meantime would be more than welcome!!
