This is all very frustrating. All I want to do is upload my databases from
my dev machine to the host machine, and I cant find anywhere that tells me
simply how to do it.

I can buy books. I can buy software, I can download Toad, but have to
install it in order to find out if it can upload or download my databases.
I've tried wading through some SSIS tutorials, but after spending 5 hours
now and getting to part 8, I still can't see how I can use it to upload and
download databases

Surely this is a common task for web developers isn't it? Don't people do
this all the time? I can't believe I'm the only one that wants to copy a
database from one SQLServer to another.

It there ANYONE who has succeeded in copying an entire database - tables,
stored procs, views, triggers, indexes, keys, foreign keys, relationships
etc the lot from one SQLServer to another? Can ANYONE point me to a way
to do it?

Thank you Maureen for your suggestion about Toad, but I have no idea whether
it can move data between one database and another, because the site doesn't
say so. I have to download the app, install it, do the tutorials and learn
the wretched thing before I get to answer that simple question. In the
site the "feature list" doesn't give any features at all, just a list of
system requirements in order to install it.

Can Anyone help me?

Cheers

I've dumped all my database tools except Toad.
