when looking at SA internals (or just using it) make sure you go
totally against the 0.2 branch, which should be moved to the trunk in
the next week or two. styleistically theres a little more you can
do with it.

Hey all,
I'm a student applying for Google's Summer of Code; I'm interested in
creating a tool to help manage database changes for SA projects. My
proposal for this project borrows a lot from Rails' migrations.
The proposal I've submitted is at
http://evan.zealgame.com/soc
Searching through the list archives, I see this has been discussed
before, and it'd be preferred that a project like this kept any new
syntax functions (ALTER, etc.) out of the SA core - that makes sense;
no objection here. Any other things I should be aware of?
Any comments on the proposal or my apporach to the project? Anyone
think this project would be useful? Any SoC mentors interested in
mentoring this? Thanks for any feedback.
