I think you misunderstood me: I create a folder, call it "New Music Album" containing mp3s of the songs on an album and "add" it to the LMS music library by doing a "look for new and changed media files" rescan. The folder and the songs (as mp3 files) are correctly added to the LMS music library. I now create a new folder, also called "New Music Album" but this folder contains flac files instead of mp3 files of the songs on the album. I DELETE the "New Music Album" folder which contains the mp3 files and add "New Music Album" that contains the flac files. I "add" this folder to the LMS music library by doing a "look for new and changed media files" rescan. The folder and the songs (as flac files) are correctly added to the LMS music library. So far so good, however the now deleted "New Music Album" of the mp3 files is still listed by LMS as being in the music library although the folder and files have been deleted and rescanned. That is the problem.
