Hello, I think I have the same issue, "Chromecast Bridge plugin has
disappeared and LMS wants to restart continuously". Where do I need to
add what to install this plugin? Shall I add Philippe44/repo on the
plugin page? What should be done semmes unclear to me (I'm a newbie with
LMS)
I am using the LMS server delivered with Fedora 23. Version is: 7.9.0 -

When I do check Chrome bridge plugin, it remains in a state without that
bridge option in the list, and asking me to wait for or to trigger a
server restart, which shall finish the plugin install. But I now retried
fresh installs and restarted my server many times: no success.
I checked /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/plugin content, as suggested
in some posts. There, after server restats, I see:

Seems that cleaning up extensions.prefs and state.prefs resets the
server to an acceptable state. I do cleanup also DownloadedPlugins
cache. There, a CastBridge.zip file exists after an install attempt, but
the LMS each time considers it doesn't exist (or the file content canot
be used, extracted):
