Is there any reason why you vortexbox? I am not familar with any of these out of the box lms Systems but i would suggest to update lms. Fedora uses rpm there are rpm pakets - try http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/7.9/sc/2abf24b/logitechmediaserver-7.9.0-0.1.1470801836.noarch.rpm this.
