I will try the family edition, thank you. I hope triode's plugin will[ get an update or the logitech spotify plugin will get better playlist support! QUOTE=SqueezeATX;862071]I too have experienced recently the issue where a Spotify playlist updated via the Spotify desktop application (songs added) does not reflect those added songs in the playlist on my LMS (v 7.9 latest). I have been using the 3rd party Triode Spotify plugin all along and until recently it worked fine (preferred over the Logitech Spotify plugin w/Protocol Handler because of features). As a test, I de-installed the Triode plugin, and installed the Logitech Spotify plugin and the Protocol Handler, and voila'!, my playlists then appeared complete/correctly in LMS. I then de-installed the Logitech Spotify Plugin and the Protocol handler and re-installed the Triode plugin (rebooting my LMS of course as well as my home server upon which LMS runs) and even removed all credentials from the Triode plugin setup and re-entered them, and once again the Spotify playlists in LMS were incorrect and didn't reflect the added songs. I then again de-installed the 3rd Party Triode Spotify Plugin, and tried installing the plugin "Triode's Spotify Plugin for Spotify Family 1" by Triode/RichieZed. After setting this up with my Spotify credentials, etc, my Spotify playlists in LMS showed correctly once again, and I have been able to add songs to Spotify playlists in the Spotify desktop and see them appear (sync) to the Spotify playlists in my LMS. So it appears that there is some issue in communicating/syncing playlists between Spotify proper and LMS when using the original Triode plugin, but that issue doesn't exist if using the original Logitech Spotify plugin or this newer " 3rd party Spotify Family" plugin . However, although the playlists now appear correctly, when I try to add a song on the fly that's currently playing in LMS to a Spotify playlist using the "add song to playlist" functionality, I get an error "(409) Error: Couldn't create command line for spdr playback for [spotify://track:3NpsJc5SOI....." - that didn't ever happen when using the original Triode plugin........so using this new "3rd party Spotify Family" plugin seems to have resolved the issue of playlists being synced correctly between Spotify and LMS, but has seemingly removed the used-to-work functionality of adding a song on the fly to a Spotify playlist from within LMS.
any thoughts on this issue will be appreciated! as an aside, I use the "Squeeze Ctrl" app from AngryGoat as my main Squeezebox remote/controller on my Android device - it's pretty slick!
