I have installed Squeezelite and so far, after three songs, sync is still IN. I set an audio delay of 129ms on the Android TV device, and at the moment all is well and good... it seems better than SqueezePlay (though for all I know, squeezeplay could be using squeezelite to run?) I will report back after a while of use.
