Since around 7:45 CEST this morning, I've had trouble using my
Squeezeboxes. I was playing internet radio at that time when they all
suddenly stopped, with a message saying they could not connect to my
server. I'm running my own LMS.
When looking at the server log, i get messages like these, repeated
often:

When going back in the logs, I see these messages have been there all
night, so it *doesn't* seem to be something that started around 7:45
CEST, I just wasn't directly affected by it until then. During night I
didn't listen to anything, and my Squeezeboxes had been playing since
6:30 CEST.
After a bit of investigation, I managed to find out that a URL like this
is called:

When I curl that repeatedly (with proper parameters), I sometimes get a
503. I guess that's the root cause for my problem?

to be only first level support like "restart LMS" (which is okay), so
now I'm turning to the forums for help.
