I am planning to switch the machine I run LMS on to a Raspberry Pi. I realize there are a number of great special purpose distro's for doing so (like Max2Play and piCorePlayer). However, I would like to be able mess around with my RPi server and maybe host a few other (home build) services on same machine apart from LMS. For this purpose I am not sure if the special purpose distro's are really well suited (maybe someone can confirm this?). So I was thinking of just running LMS on Raspbian or some other more general purpose OS for the RPi.
My question is, does anyone have experience with this kind of set up? What are the downsides compared to the special purpose distributions? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Guut_Boy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62318 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106460 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
