Regarding "being on the limit of decoding HiRes media". Do you HAVE hires media? As I said: that could indeed be a bandwidth problem. I still don't believe FLC decoding is but depending on the DAC capabilities that stuff might also have to be downsampled and this is a pretty CPU intensive process. CD quality audio should never cause issues with CPU power, if I causes issues over WiFi you really have a problem with the Wifi connection. I mean... we are talking about some gross bandwidth in the 2Mbit range.
