I have same kind of problems. My music collection is in a Qnap221 NAS with a Squeezebox server installed and two Logitech Touch units. They work pretty well wirelessly when I am running them in a WLAN which is set up by Bewan (I think) cable modem.
Then I bought an Asus Router and changed the cable modem to a bridged mode. Everything else seems to work alright except the squeezebox server, it cant find the Music folder in the NAS. In the Asus control panel I can see that both the Logitech Touches are connected to network and the NAS as well and I can acces all the files in the NAS. I changed the Cable modem back to routed mode and ditched the router and now everything works fine again. Here are the settings that the squeezebox diagnostics is giving: Routed Bridged Wireless connection: IP-address 192.168.100.48 192.168.1.31 Submask... 255.255.255.0 255.255.255.0 IP gateway 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 DNS Server... 182.168.100.1 192.168.1.1 Address of NAS and Squeezebox server 192.168.100.17 192.168.1.1 The acces to NAS files (read/write etc.) are the same as in somebody elses posting above. Could someone please help with this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ helmman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66342 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106477 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
