Thank you for the response! I will update in a day or two because I need a lot of free time to be careful... Although I set auto rescans to "0", I forgot about the overnight rescan that I set on the Squeeze units themselves. A test playlist of 15 songs that I added a song to in iTunes AND the web interface, lost that song overnight. What the rescan is reading is a mystery as this playlist was changed to 16 songs and overnight reverts to the original 15 songs. Oh well, hopefully updating to 7.9.0 will fix this. In the meantime, I cancelled the overnight rescan.
