Thanks again!

Being an amateur at this, it took me some time to figure out what you
wanted me to do. Sorry. This is the closest statement I can find (cmd-F)
as to which iTunes file is used on a new rescan with the plugin.itunes
logic level set to debug:

[17-04-07 09:58:49.3826]
Slim::Plugin::iTunes::Importer::handleCharElement (558) Found the music
folder: file:///Users/len/Music/iTunes/iTunes%20Music

There is a time stamp here but is this what you needed?

I also called up 'iTunes/ preferences/ advanced' and I do not see a path
set. Perhaps I do not know what to look for.

Do you think I have TWO iTunes folders and LMS is reading the wrong one
or an old one? How to I find this out? Where do I look?

A little background on what I am trying to do:

I have 2 playlists in iTunes that are similar in name. "PSA2" is fine -
no problems as I have not altered this for years. "PSA" with 15 songs
originally, is the problem. A month ago I added song #16 in iTunes which
never plays (or shows) on my Squeezeboxes. Yesterday I added song #16 to
LMS in my Safari browser and with endless time, wound up with 2 "PSA"
playlists. One of them with 15 songs, and one of them with 16 songs. I
then deleted the 15 song "PSA" playlist with iPeng. Now, whenever I do a
rescan, that 15 song playlist comes back which I delete again & again.
At least the 16 song playlist is still there:

[17-04-07 09:57:52.9195] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Local::deleted (802)
Handling deleted playlist
file:///Users/len/Music/iTunes/Playlists/PSA%20.m3u
[17-04-07 09:57:53.2238] Slim::Utils::Scanner::Local::new (891) Handling
new playlist file:///Users/len/Music/iTunes/Playlists/PSA%20.m3u
[17-04-07 09:58:49.2405] Slim::Plugin::iTunes::Importer::handlePlaylist
(493) Got a playlist (itunesplaylist:PSA) named PSA
[17-04-07 09:58:49.2600] Slim::Plugin::iTunes::Importer::handlePlaylist
(493) Got a playlist (itunesplaylist:PSA2) named PSA2

Any new playlist I create in iTunes NEVER shows on my Squeezeboxes. Of
course, I can create any playlist I want 'on the fly' using my Logitech
Squeezebox factory remote. And again, at least all my music plays - but
any changes or additions in iTunes are not recognized by LMS. And no
more rescans...

PS Just for fun, I just added song #17 to "PSA" in iTunes which of
course is not recognized after a rescan. It shows in iTunes but not on
my Squeezeboxes.
