It is doing a logical OR on the words you provide it to search on. If I search for "land of" I get hits with the strings "land" and "of" in the title, but it's not necessarily in that order, so I get "land of confusion" yes but I also get "the take off and landing of everything" as well as any titles with "of" or "land" in any of the main fields.
The word "confusion" is a much better search because it's obviously much more precise.
