For one thing, I am running Jivelite full-screen on the same Mac Mini, together with squeezelite (with video output to a TV screen, and Jivelite controlled by a remote.) I am not notified of existing server updates, when available -- unless I launch the Web interface on another computer, or VNC into the server.
