Yeah I realize that but I think we all know this is a networking issue somewhere, even if he goes wired to the first Sonos he still has the router in the mix (which maybe will still be the/a problem) I've never been tempted by Sonos myself for lots of reasons Cost, "locked in syndrome", Sound quality and lack of flexibility. In fact I have trouble explaining the Squeezebox universe to my friends simply because of the number of options you have with it !
