Hi Digimaster,
I have tried this on both my QNAPs, and can't get it to work on either
:(
Which is really frustrating when I see for others it works first time.
I ran the update, did the [touch MUSICIP] (which seems to create an
empty file called MUSICIP in the LMS folder).
Restart of LMS gives the message {Musicipserver start's in the
background!} message (but not a messaged saying it is actually started).

I installed MUSICIP plugin in LMS

The restart looks ok, but nothing on port 10002
I CHOWNed the directories (I figure needed because I note that the
mmm.ini file in the .MUSICIP directory had Admin as owner), and
restarted, but still no success.
Error message in the LMS server log saying it cannot find MUSICIP
server.

I have rebooted.
MUSICIP is not showing in the resource list.
Nothing in the system logs.
No ping from port 10002
Ideas?

otherwise I will do a complete remove, reboot, install from scratch.
It's only about 15 minutes to re-enter all the settings (I'm well
practiced by now!)

Obeservations:..
Existing users should be able to copy their default.m3lib cache file
into the .Musicip directory, or alternatively change the mmm.ini file
in .Musicip (cache= entry) to point at their saved file. This will
eliminate the need to re-scan all their music - I will try when I get
the server to start..
