- How do you clear cache of discovered players?
What do you consider "cache"? As outlined in the other thread where this
was discussed, LMS should only show you devices which are connected, or
which were connected until a few minutes ago. But you should not see
devices you set up months or years ago and didn't touch since. I still
do have my SliMP3 in the configuration file, but it would never show up
in LMS.
- What are the ramifications of doing so with regard to LMS and the
various plugins?
You'd lose the prefs for those players, obviously.
I wonder whether you have some plugin which is messing with this
mechanism. What other 3rd party plugins do you use? Ever tried to
disable all but the Groups plugins?
