Sorry, i've been out of town for a while.

I currently run 'closest synchronous', but i tried 'closest supported'
with no difference in the symptom.

I'll have to compile a windows squeezelite using the same settings i did
for the RPi to make it a good test, that may be a while before i have
enough time.  Mean while, i did try running wired ethernet instead of
wifi.  That did not make any difference in the symptom either.
