I could understand part of it Marco but thanks for the detailed explanation (i am not a real audio expert) Just tried the other suggestion i.e Manual Gain reduction: 6; Loudness gain: 5; Loudness reference: 65 Had a subtle change. I will listen for some time to see its effect but sounds like i dont need fiddly sox entries. Thanks heaps for your advice. Will follow this thread as i learn more.
