Same here. I've been running the LMS 7.9.1 stable release without problems on a test box running Windows Server 2016 Essentials. I'm testing whether or not I want to upgrade now from 2012 R2 Essentials or wait later. FYI: Some things of interest I've found: 1) There is no media pack for 2016 Essentials. You have to install your own DLNA server (like PLEX, etc.). 2) I'm finding that 2016 Essentials Windows Update takes a LONG time to install monthly cumulative updates. Much longer than 2012 R2 on similar hardware (an HP 40L Microserver); the updates run faster on a beefy VM I tried.
