You know what would be cool? If I could just have a setting in LMS, which would 
cause, upon a (re)scan automatically convert the collection to mp3 and update 
the ones, where the metadata has changed.

It would save so much time (and questions), and it can’t be much more than a 
simple hook in the scan script, which executes a custom command to create the 
mp3 when a new song is found or the metadata is updated?

I mean - LMS knows which tracks are new or have updated metadata, and when I 
add new tracks, I do a rescan anyway.
