If the thumb drive is is FAT formatted (and I assume is just music) - you may be able to defrag it and "tidy" up the files.
Speed (access and transfer rate) of USB thumb drives can also vary a lot. > I had forgotten "how I got here" in terms of controlling the Raspberry > Pi to access LMS. I don't how LMS is controlled matters. I mentioned alsa and buffers in case you have DAC and have set up special settings to avoid gaps etc. I don't know Max2play details but typically these setting would only be accessible via a Max2play web browser interface or a remote shell. I don't knwo if Orange Squeeze can aslo play but I'm assuming you are playing music on the Pi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109569 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
