I cannot answer this question. I don't use this plugin and deactivated
it in my normal setup. If it's active here it's only because it was
activated by default.

I always uninstall QLMS (uninstall removes path including prefs, cache
etc.) before updating it. In other words, I don't update, I always
install from scratch. I don't even keep the settings (the only two
exceptions are favorites.opml and podcast.prefs (not used here)), I have
a checklist for my setup (not used here).

I understand what you're saying, but I'm not convinced that you would
get more reports, for three reasons. This "issue" is a pretty new one, I
think it started around the time of the introduction of Audio::Scan
1.02. It only affects the x64 version, as far as I can tell (I'd have to
confirm that, though, I only installed it accidentally). And it doesn't
break anything. It just scans the artwork a second time, and my guess
is, it doesn't happen with normal rescans. I wouldn't even have found
out about it weren't it for the errors created when running a fulltext
search while the artwork gets a second scan. That's a pretty small time
window even for larger collections.

But I trust your experience here, of course. Maybe it's QLMS, maybe I do
something wrong here. But "skip", "music path", "playlist path", "open
iPeng"... Even I wouldn't know how to screw that up. Not much room for
improvisation here.
