After further testing it looks like it might be a hardware problem. It turns it out it's not just the stream that stops, but it's actually the Squeezebox crashing/rebooting, and then goes straight to the radio display again, which is why I just thought that the stream halted. I'll do some further digging around and also test with a different power supply. The weird thing is that it's only happening with radio streams. I haven't played that many albums from my library, but have never seen it happen there, whereas with the radio it's very unlikely that I can listen a full hour without the problem showing up.
