To the original question and streaming service, I honestly think it is going to depend on the audio equipment you are listening on. You just might have to try it out to see what sounds best.
I tried Tidal once, and it did not sound better than the Spotify stream I was getting. The fault was probably on my end, and I did work through things and verified I was getting the FLAC stream, but to my ears I heard the following: 1. Spotify sounded better than the Tidal stream for the same tracks 2. My own FLAC files sounded better than the Tidal streams. There are many reasons why that may happen. I stuck with Spotify. Honestly, when I get to a point where I care about the quality enough, I buy the recording (either CD or FLAC), so I don't feel like I am missing much. There may be other considerations outside sound quality that could matter, but I am not addressing that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ emalvick's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35382 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110349 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
